Please keep in mind that this is merely a blog, a collection of my travel experiences, with a sprinkling of my feelings, thoughts and opinions which have been produced with little to no research and likely, even less editing. As I am still in the process of living and learning, I reserve the right to change these thoughts and opinions at any point when life lessons deem it necessary.
Please also keep in mind that from time to time businesses close, therefore, the exact itinerary I used on a given trip may not be available for all the years to come. I will try to check them and make updates as I can, however, it is always a good idea for you to contact the places ahead of time. This will ensure you don’t ever find yourself starving and freezing in the wintery dark, while standing outside of a forsaken trattoria in a remote Italian village at 10 p.m. wanting to do me harm. (Actually, a very close version of this scenario once happened to me, but as fate would have it, I was invited to dine with a family who took pity on me and it ended up being one of the best meals of my life.)
You are free to ask questions, disagree with me or leave a comment at any time. I will try to respond as my travel and wifi access allow. I do reserve the right to delete any comment that is rude or inexcusably profane.
Why is this disclaimer even here, you ask? Well, in addition to contributing to the creation of one of my precious grandsons, my son-in-law is the kind of tireless attorney who leaves no stone unturned, and he said it needed to be here. 🙂
